Cake Batter Cookies
Ingredients: 1 and 1/4 cups flour, 1 and 1/4 cups vanilla cake mix, 1/2 tsp. baking soda, 3/4 cup softened butter, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 egg, 1 and 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract, 1 cup chocolate chips, 1/2 cup sprinkles
Directions: Combine flour, cake mix, and baking soda in a bowl – set aside. In a separate bowl, blend together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Add the vanilla and egg and blend until combined. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until combined. Add chocolate chips (I used a combination of milk and white chocolate chips) and sprinkles (if you use small sprinkles, use less then 1/2 a cup). Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 2 hours (optional).
Spray with cooking spray OR place a sheet of parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Roll batter into balls (size varies depending on how big you want your cookies) and bake for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool for 5 minutes.
