Vera Schroeder is a freshman at Middletown High School. This is their first year in journalism. Vera is also a red belt with black stripes in Taekwondo, that’s just two belts behind a black belt. Vera can play the piano and has been going to lessons for years. They enjoy composing music and mostly compose for piano and violin. They also enjoy geography, linguistics, art, worldbuilding, history (outside of school), and hiking. They aspire to travel to places like the Tsingy de Bemaraha in Madagascar, or the Uvs Lake Basin in Mongolia, and Crater Lake in Oregon.
