Eighty-four-year-old nun Megan Rice and two other peace activists broke into the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tenn., on July 28, 2012. The three individuals left graffiti and messages on the facility’s walls and on Feb. 18 of this year, the three were sentenced to 35 months in prison for breaking and entering, and property damage.
“They shouldn’t have vandalized the place, but 35 months seems like too much of a sentence.”
