As the school year is coming to an end, so is the chance to order a yearbook. With only 18 books remaining at $74.20 (including tax), students can have something that they will remember for the rest of their life.
More than 780 students have already ordered a yearbook online, according to yearbook adviser Noah Kady, online sales are closed. He added, however, “to order a yearbook you must come to room 312 anytime during 3rd period, with a check made out to Middletown High School.”
The design to this year’s yearbook is more of a “clean approach including simple elements with subtle hints to the rest of the book” says design editor, Jack Littrell. He also added that the yearbook committee “used a lot of photos submitted by students and tried to create consistency throughout the book.”
“Trying to cover everything in the school from pose shots to action shots and having a big senior class were the biggest challenges to this year’s yearbook,” said photo editor, Julia Burdette.
The yearbook committee “comes together before the school year starts to get a basic theme” says Littrell and try to “brainstorm ideas that they think they will be able to pull off during the year,” added executive editor, Sami Breeze.
“By using an online application, Yearbook Avenue,” says Littrell, the yearbook slowing starts to come together.
When the yearbook is finally done, students can pick up it up and share laughter and heartfelt memories with friends and family as they look through it.
