The Middletown High School FFA Chapter is holding its annual strawberry sale February 2020. The sale started the week of Feb. 3-7 with deliveries coming in the week of Feb. 24-28.
The FFA is a group that teaches about agriculture and spreads awareness. FFA student officers help with the sale by selling the strawberries, unloading the trucks and organizing the orders. FFA historian Kinley Halsey helped with the strawberry sale last year and said it was successful.
FFA adviser Sarah Shriner started this fundraiser in 2013. It raises money for the FFA for service projects, competitions, socials, chapter meetings and Ag Day.
People can order strawberries from anyone in the FFA. They can also find out information about future sales from FFA members, advisers Sara Seiser or Sarah Shriner, or online at the Middletown FFA facebook page or the Middletown FFA website at mhsknightsffa.org.
