SGA is currently running a Name the Mascot contest. Please place your ideas in the box located in the cafeteria. Contest ends Friday, Sept. 4th.
SGA has begun planning homecoming week events. Meetings are on Thursdays at 2:20 in room 203. Also, don’t forget to sign up for SGA Club during club sign-ups. Information and applications can be found on the bulletin board in the cafeteria.
Any junior who is interested in serving as a member of the Junior Class Advisory Board should see Ms. Cashdollar in Room 430 or Mrs. Headley in Room 511 this week.
The Academic Tournament team will have the first practice of the year on Wednesday, Sept. 2nd in Mr. Kirkendall’s room at 2:30.
Any student interested in being an officer for the Gay Straight Alliance needs to see Mr. Haardt in Room 206 by this Thursday. Come as you are.
Student Drivers: Don’t forget to purchase your parking permits this week. Applications are available online, in the media center, and in the attendance office. Permits can be purchased in the media center before school and during lunches. Ticketing will begin very soon and students who park at MHS without a permit will be fined!
Attention all Knights: Have you picked up your student pass? For only $25, your pass will get you in to almost 70 home games this year. No more waiting in line at football games or worries about having money to get into a game. Stop by during your lunch shift to see Mrs. Cosgray in the copy room this week and bring your $25 check or cash.
