NEHS is sponsoring a Children’s Book Drive for new and gently used books. These books will be donated to the Middletown United Methodist Church Pre-School. You may drop off books in the front office or in Ms. Leonard’s room 510 until April first.
Remember that Friday is Dr. Seuss Character Dress-Up Day. Please participate and show your Seussical Spirit!
March is Youth Art Month. Please support our MHS artists as well as other very talented students from around Frederick County at the Delaplaine Center for the Arts.
Attention seniors: You have until April fifteenth to send your memorable and funny photos to be used at the baccalaureate ceremony. Email photos to Idea guy ninety-nine at Google dot com. Also, seniors that are interested in performing at baccalaureate should sign up as soon as possible on the senior class bulletin board.
The next planning meeting for baccalaureate is tomorrow night at seven PM in room 210. All seniors and senior parents are welcome to attend.
MHS will be hosting the Empty Bowls Banquet on Tuesday, March twenty-fourth at six PM. There will be dinner from Carrabba’s Italian Grill and Ice-cream and cookies for dessert. There will also be a silent auction and you may also select a ceramic bowl created by the MHS Ceramic Classes. All proceeds go to Middletown Valley People Helping People. Tickets are available in the front office.
Members of the Bioengineering Team are reminded that we will meet this Thursday after school in room 514. We will plan our presentation for our field trip to BUGSS next Friday. Field trip permission slips are now available from Mrs. Duva. All team members are encouraged to attend.
Attention AP Students: Don’t forget that AP registration forms and money are due to Mrs. Spangler in the front office by Friday. Please sign up as soon as possible. See Mrs. Hontz or Mrs. Spangler if you have any questions.
