College bound seniors: We will have a brief meeting after school today to get you started on the college application process and show you how to use Naviance. Please report to the auditorium no later than 2:20 on Thursday.
Seniors and Juniors. We have over 30 college representatives scheduled to visit Middletown High this fall . This is a great opportunity to learn more about a college you love or one that has just started to spark your interest. So check out the complete list on Naviance, under the Colleges tab, to see if your favorites are scheduled and then sign up. Colleges coming this month include Messiah College, University of Maryland-College Park, Washington College, Hood College, West Virginia University and Mount St. Mary’s.
There will be a meeting for current senior members of the Spanish Honor Society in Mr. Lupian’s room next Wednesday after school.
Any junior who is interested in serving as a member of the Junior Class Advisory Board should see Ms. Cashdollar or Mrs. Headley this week.
The MHS Drama Department will be presenting “A Christmas Carol” this year for the winter show. Auditions will be held for high school students in the auditorium on Sept. 16th and 17th. A sign-up sheet and audition details will soon be available on the drama board outside of Ms. Denton’s room. Elementary and Middle school students may also audition on Sept. 17th. Would you like to be involved as a member in the FFA? FFA isn’t just for farmers or people who come from a farming background. It could be normal everyday people like you. Want to help or be in the heritage day parade which includes what the float will be, decorating the float and being on the float, walking in the parade, and walking your farm animals in the parade, or even driving a tractor in the parade. To hear and learn about what the FFA is doing, and to do other fun activities during this day join the general assembly on club day black. You won’t regret it!
