MHS will be hosting the Empty Bowls Banquet on Tuesday, March twenty-fourth at 6 PM. All proceeds go to Middletown Valley People Helping People. Tickets are available from Mrs. Staub in the main office. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Gibson or Mr. Zimmer.
Next Wednesday, March eighteenth is STEM and College and Career Exploration Day. Students should sign up for three different sessions using the link on the MHS website. Session descriptions can be found on the website. Students may use their own device and are welcome to use the library computers before and after school. Sign-ups end on Friday and session choices are on a first-come, first-served basis so make sure you sign up as soon as possible.
Attention prospective officers of the Gay-Straight Alliance: There will be a meeting after school in Mr. Haardt’s class, Room 206, Friday March twentieth for all those interested in being an officer for the 2015-2016 school year. Hope you can attend.
The rehearsal schedule for Hello, Dolly! has been updated through April and is posted on the Drama board and the Drama website. Please check the schedule for your rehearsal times. Also, a reminder that production fees for the show are overdue. Turn your contract and payment in to Mrs. Duva as soon as possible.
Tomorrow is the last day to vote for the Student Member of the Board. Students may vote anytime from any device. Please help elect the next student leader for Frederick County Public Schools!
Student drivers: Please make sure that your parking permit is visible and that you only park in designated spots. Those who park without a permit will get ticketed! If you still need a permit, applications can be printed from the MHS website and are available in the front office and Media Center.
Any sophomore who ordered a sophomore class t-shirt should see Mrs. Bator in Room 215 to pick up your t-shirt order.
Current NAHS members: There is a meeting tomorrow at two thirty in Room 412. If you cannot attend, please contact Ms. L. Juniors and Seniors interested in applying to The National Art Honor Society should see Ms. L in room 414 for an application packet. Packets are due back no later than March sixteenth at two thirty.
