The Illusionist-PG-82%- A classy animated movie has been a long time coming and the trailer for this French movie looks like it delivers. Though the trailer didn’t tell much about the story it showed it. The movie seems to parallel that of the Pixar™ shorts before movies, and will definitely be a heart warming family film.
Gulliver’s Travels-PG-59%- Jack Black stars in yet another comedy as the same character he has been in pretty much every movie. The film was directed by Rob Letterman, who also directed “Night at the Museum” which wasn’t a terrible movie. The movie looks like it will have potential for children and maybe a joke or two for the adults.
Summer Wars-PG-83%- “Summer Wars” seems to be another Anime with romance and some computer technology going wrong and the world being in trouble, but it has a different feel than all of the other movies with this story line. Everything in it just looks like it fits, but it could also end up being a flop in the United States its hard to tell, but it seems like a successful movie project.
Oddly enough, there has been a strange lack of holiday movies this year.
