North Korean soldiers plan to use nuclear weapons to harm neighboring countries, according to USA TODAY last month.
In America, Congressmen and the United States government rejected the idea of using nuclear weapons. There are U.S. Navy troops over seas and some of the soldiers keep track on the security system.
Everyday, hundreds of missiles and artillery pieces are launched near Seoul, South Korea according to bloomberg.com.
Shooting, exploding, and spraying nuclear are some of the ways North Koreans use these weapons. Some Americans aren’t happy that these nuclear weapons are used for such major purposes.
President Barrack Obama should persuade Congressmen about how we can keep peace without having the use of nuclear weapons. If he does this, then the world will be more at peace.
“North Korea has been trying to develop nuclear weapons for several years,” said Michael Desimone, a Social Studies teacher at Middletown High School.
“The U.S. has nuclear weapons, so it does not have to develop new nuclear weapons because we have already developed these smart weapons,” said Desimone.
The nuclear weapons in the U.S. threaten our position as a world leader in Asia and the Middle East.
Desimone said, “that the U.N. would hopefully help put a stop to the use of these weapons.”
Part of many nuclear weapon bans that have taken place for the past 20 years have been in conflict with the U.S.
“Continuing to monitor North Korea and other countries that are trying to develop this technology is the only way to protect the United States,” Desimone said.
For years, we’ve been protesting against these wars because our soldiers were dying or getting injured at the time. Banning nuclear weapons is the only way to try to solve these wars.
