After the tragic death of Mexican pro wrestler Hijo Del Perro Aguayo, Middletown High School students expressed remorseful and frustrated opinions of the accident.
After a shocking tragedy in the pro wrestling community, the famous Aguayo died in the ring after being kicked in the face, leaving fans in deep sorrow.
For some students the death of Aguayo left them in mourning.
“Wow, this is very sad. He just wanted to live his dream,” said MHS junior Paige Sudler, upon hearing the news.
MHS junior Allie Hough said, “This is very depressing.”
But for other students, the accident left them frustrated.
If someone dies then it is the “wrong type of wrestling,” said Will Davis, MHS junior and member of the varsity wrestling team.
MHS junior Mallory Gumas said Rey Mysterio should be tried and punished for his involvement in the accident.
