All families have quirky things about them, which make the family specific as who they are. The strange happenings they partake in define the family as what they believe in, what their goals are and what they strive to be.
The Heck family is no different. Every Wednesday the Hecks appear on ABC at 8 pm to share their family with the world. Every week they face a challenge that brings trouble to the family, but they overcome it and work slowly to be a better family.
“The Middle” was created by Eileen Heisler & DeAnn Heline and first aired on Oct 8, 2009. The show was so successful in its first season that it is now continuing onto the second.
The Heck family is a family of five, Frankie and Mike with their three children Axl, Sue and Brick. They struggle as normal families do, from rebellious teenage actions, to support for cross country meets, to helping one another work through each day.
The cast has also been visited by famous stars such as Betty White and Brooke Shields to enhance the humor and entertainment.
“The Middle” is hilarious and heart-warming. It brings families close together to watch a show about another quirky family. It reminds us all that although our own families are weird, strange and different, sometimes they are all we need to find happiness.
